Since we’ve opened, we’ve been dedicated to changing the lives of people one person at a time, through martial arts, education and coaching. We strive to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all students and family members. Head Professor and Owner Osvaldo Queixinho Moizinho
Osvaldo Augusto Moizinho, commonly known as “Queixinho” is a 3rd Degree Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt who earned the rank while training under the Soul Fighters founding members (Rafael Barbosa, Leandro Escobar, Bruno Mendes and Augusto “Tanquinho”), although he is also known for his time spent as a student and teammate of Caio Terra and as the founder of the Ares BJJ team. A Rio de Janeiro native, Queixinho made his name in the sport of jiu-jitsu competing in the United States, where he conquered World and Pan American titles.

Professor Esdras Felix Bezerra Junior
Esdras is a 1st Degree Black Belt and Assistant instructor under Professor Osvaldo Queixinho Moizinho. Esdras is our lead instructor in Phoenix teaching both youth and adults. Esdras has been training since 2006. He comes by way of Paraiba northeast Brazil. He’s a highly decorated Jiu Jitsu athlete and has won many titles and is currently ranked in the top 10 master 1 black belts on the IBJJF International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation competition ranking. He has won many high level competitions in Brazil, the U.S., and the world. He works as an IBJJF Referee throughout the world circuit.

Keven Carrasco Kids & Adult BJJ Instructor
Keven is a Black belt and Assistant instructor under Professor Osvaldo Queixinho Moizinho. Keven has been training since he was 9 years old. He is a product of the Youth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Program. He’s also a highly decorated Jiu Jitsu athlete and has won many titles over the years. He is the 2019 Rooster Purple Belt IBJJF World Champion and 2020 IBJJF Pan Am Champion Brown Belt. 2021 Third coast grappling Champion Black Belt

Natalia Mendonca Kids & Adult BJJ Instructor
Nathalia is a Purple Belt with one stripe. She has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since she was a young girl under the guidance of her father and mentor Professor Osvaldo Queixinho Moizinho. She is amazing with kids and understands how Brazilian Jiu Jitsu can help children grow and reach their potential. Her enthusiasm and positive attitude brings joy to the children she has the privilege of teaching.
Seth Abraham Kids BJJ Assistant Instructor
Seth is a Purple Belt. He has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since he was 7 years old. Seth enjoys the friendships that he has developed through his training. Seth has had the privilege of training with many greats of Jiu Jitsu: Professor Caio Terra, Professor Rafael Mendez, Professor Roy Harris, Professor Andre Galvao, Professor Ronaldo Junior and many more. He is now honored and privileged to train directly under Professor Osvaldo Queixinho Moizinho, a Jiu Jitsu Legend. Seth is attending college with a focus in film, he aspires to be a Movie Director. He also works hand in hand in the marketing of the academy.
Ethan Abraham Kids BJJ Assistant Instructor
Ethan is a big fan of many combat sports. He has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since he was 5 years old. Ethan has had the privilege of training with many of the all time greats of Jiu Jitsu: Professor Caio Terra, Professor Rafael Mendez, Professor Roy Harris, Professor Andre Galvao, Professor Ronaldo Junior and many more. He is honored and privileged to train directly under Professor Osvaldo Queixinho Moizinho, a Jiu Jitsu Legend. Ethan is currently a blue belt and competes in the juvenile division.
Owner/General Manger: Warren Abraham
Warren enjoys all combative arts. Warren has many years as a public servant. He believes in building people. Warren functions in many capacities at the academies from teaching kids and adults to administrative day to day running of the academies.

Priscila has many years of experience in customer service. Priscila’s primary role is to provide support, information and opportunity for students and staff.

Assistant Kids & Adult Instructor
Jacob is currently a brown belt and teaches in both of our kids and adult programs. Jacob started his jiu jitsu under the guidance of professor Osvaldo Quiexinho and has been growing in skill ever since, as an athlete and instructor. But what makes Jacob a great instructor is his willingness to work with anyone new to jiu jitsu, whether it be giving students extra tidbits on certain techniques or simply helping them whenever they need it.

Assistant Kids Instructor
Steve is currently a brown belt and teaches in our kids program. Steve has been in the fitness industry for many years and brings his experience in teaching our kids.
Assistant Kids Instructor
Jared is a purple belt and started wrestling as a freshman in high school and was a four year varsity letterman. He placed at and won many tournaments, finalizing his high school career as an Arizona wrestling state champion. Since high school Jared has worked to give back to the sport by volunteering as a coach at various wrestling clubs and worked as a JV coach at his local high school. Jared still has a huge passion for wrestling and loves sharing his knowledge of the sport with others. He has done amazing coaching the Kids Jiu Jitsu Program and guiding our youth with a strong wrestling background.
